Support for Flatulence

About Flatulence - Flatulence is gas that builds up in the intestines.  It is usually caused by the fermentation or degradation of undigested food in the stomach, but may also be caused by stress, or by swallowing air when eating food.  This build up of excess gas in the stomach and intestines may cause discomfort and pain for your pet.  A change of diet, along with an herbal adjunct, may greatly decrease the occurrence of flatulence.  Although not common in cats, flatulence is a very common problem in dogs.

PURPOSE OF FORMULATION:  Botanical support for proper digestion, and to provide relief from the discomfort associated with excessive gas in the stomach and bowels.

FORM:  Bulk powder (85 grams, 315 grams, -or- 545 grams)

HERBAL INGREDIENTS:  Proprietary blend of anise seed, caraway seed, cardamom seed, catnip, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, fennel seed, gentian, ginger root, and peppermint leaf. [Click Here for more information about these herbal ingredients]

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:  Use the recommended dosage (shown below) for as long as symptoms persist, then lower the dosage amount by half (˝) for as long as maintenance support is needed (5 scoops* would become 2 ˝ scoops; 4 scoops would become 2 scoops; 3 scoops would become 1˝ scoops; 2 scoops would become 1 scoop; 1 scoop would become ˝ scoop; etc.). Cats

Small (up to 10 lbs.):

One (1) level scoop*, two (2) times each day.

Medium & Large (11 lbs. or over):

Two (2) level scoops, two (2) times each day.
 

Dogs

 

Extra Small (under 10 lbs.):

One (1) level scoop, two (2) times each day.

Small (11 to 25 lbs.):

Two (2) level scoops, two (2) times each day.

Medium (26 to 50 lbs.):

Three (3) level scoops, two (2) times each day.

Large (51 to 100 lbs.):

Four (4) level scoops, two (2) times each day. 

X-Large (100 lbs. or over):

Five (5) level scoops, two (2) times each day.
   
* (The scoop supplied with this blend is 1/4 teaspoon level to the top).
